Yeah he's still kickin' just got a PM from him for paying $10 a lb too much for powder ...

Glad I wasn't shipping a gun or something...

I was concerned he had fallen off the edge of the world or something....Just like old times on the fire grin

Powder prices are getting crazy. SIL and a friend both hit me up for some H1000 for their boomers. I checked on GB. Looked like $100 for two one pound jugs. Plus shipping. Worked out to about $70-$75 per pound delivered. 2.5x what I paid for mine. I am not actively reloading for any rifles with it at the moment and have several other slow burners on the shelf. Gave them a couple pounds. Told them to replace it when it comes back into stock / general availability. Right now, $10 per pound bump up would seem a very small premium...

I don’t need any powder that bad, I can get 7828 right now for $26-27 bucks right here in Alaska. Also can get Imr 4350.. while those powders aren’t ideal they will work in a wide range of calibers.. besides I have plenty of rl26

No RL 26 anywhere close around here for quite some time. H4350 is showing back up though at reasonable prices.

Old Bricky is still mad at me for telling him he needs to get off the porch.... grin

Local shop still has most powders at regular prices, ammo is thin but what they have is regular price.

How ironic, the moron who thinks people need "to get off the porch" can't pull his head out of his ass and get off his own porch. Let me know when you want some more $40/pound RL-26, dumbass.

I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick ass. And I'm all out of bubblegum.

Guy @ local gun show a couple weeks ago sold small pistol primers for $80/K, at the shows this past weekend small pistol primers were being offered for $150/K ! Didn't see anyone standing in line to buy at that price !
