I took my new Weatherby 6.5-300 to the range Sunday. Fired 2 shots almost touching, made the adjustment, one shot hit center of the X, moved to 100 yard target, fired 2 rounds, made click adjustment to 2” high at 100 and BINGO! Right on the spot. Scope: 3-12x44 Burris Signature Select USA made. Tracks right where it’s supposed to. Surprise, surprise..... not. If it is not a Leupold and it adjusts correctly then no surprise

No, the 2" shift occurred in the same range session. It was the first shot after I moved the windage adjustment 4 clicks right. The scope processed this change perfectly, 1" right.
I'm expecting the scope to perform as it should when Leupold sends it back to me since other owners have not had this problem.
Yeah, that sounds like an issue with the scope all right. Hopefully Leupold gets it sorted out for you.

Oh, okay, here we go, again. Hey, Rick Bin, how 'bout starting a separate forum for this? Call it "Leupold bashing forum." Leupold Derangement Syndrome.........has it's origins in the Trump Derangement Syndrome virus........

IAs fate would have it, I went to the range today to sight in a Leupold 1.5-4X with Pig Plex. I started at 25 yds to get it on paper and then got it close to point of aim. When I moved the target to 50 yds, I was hitting about 3" high of point of aim. So, I adjusted it back and at then at both 50 and 75 yds I was hitting the target close to point of aim. The scope just had to settle in. Since I am a set and forget type of guy, this didn't bother me. I like the scope, as it has a nice clear image.
