No sign of a wound, but as it had started smelling, I didn't poke around too much. Don't think it was blue tongue, as I haven't heard of it being around this year. Would have been a nice one in a year or two.

They were on it the next day. I was going to try and take the rack off, but the smell was already too much. So, I wired the rack to a tree, and will let the buzzards and coyotes pick the bones clean. I'll go back sometime in the late winter and retrieve the rack.
