Dead on his feet at the shot, just didn't quite know it yet. wink

Nice buck. I miss the early muzzloader season in Kansas.

I love the early muzzloader season but could love it even more without the 90-degree days, ticks, chiggers, mosquitoes, poison ivy and snakes. laugh

A buddy said I sounded, "gassed," in the video. And, yeah, he's right, fo' sure.

The backstory is I’d already walked back to my truck, dropped my gear, grabbed the cart, called my wife to get the boys out of bed (my youngest filled his buck & doe tag earlier in the week) came back gutted the deer and was hauling it out myself ‘til, thankfully, the cavalry showed up. Oh, and it was 84 degrees too.

Haulin' deer out nowadays is much easier with two, two-hundred lb. boys. tired
