Just bought a 3010 gas. Got it home and realized It has a pretty substantial hydraulic leak coming out of that small inspection cover down by the pedals on the right side. When I take that inspection cover off and rev it up, the fluid comes out pretty fast, any ideas?

You have lemon laws in most states. Here it is three days. Don’t know if that applies to individual sales??

An old Deere leaking hydraulic oil is like a Savage not ejecting cases. Supposed to. Not making fun but I had a 4020 and had it repaired several times. Edk

Without being able to look at it or pictures I'd say the same thing.

There is a green tractor forum that will likely provide more helpful answers. Grew up on a 4020 but don’t remember the cover you are referencing.

I have a 4020 and there is a hydraulic return line along the right side of the tractor that goes by the brake pedals. My tractor was built in the mid to late 60's. When I got it this return line was plastic and it was broken so the return oil was running out on the ground. I replaced it with a copper line and supported it so it doesn't rub on anything. Don't know it yours is the same or not.
