I have 2 concerns - one that Trump thinks he can wing it while Biden has done nothing but practice to counter Trump.
He won't be Hillary
and I think Wallace will structure questions that are focused on what Trump actually did and what Biden "would have done" so Trump has to deal with actual while Biden gets to talk about what he'd do as a make believe President.
Will Wallace press Biden on what he'd do to stop violent protest in Portland? Would he have shut down air travel at the first start of the pandemic? Would he have encouraged Governors to shut down their economies?
also will Wallace press Biden on issues that are particular to the division in his party - medicaid for all which Biden said was a nightmare in one debate with Sanders, the New Green Deal that AOC wrote with crayons, and open borders.?
I have low expectations for Wallace. +1 on the low expectations for Wallace.

Trump needs to be himself and Biden desperately needs to be someone he's not.

If there is a debate, President Trump should ask Biden if he can show the country that there is no electronic device in his ear.

Wallace probably will interrupt Trump.
I wonder if he will ask hardball questions of Biden.
Like, "You've not responded to the allegations from Tara Reade that you molested her while she was on you staff. Would you care to now"

When I was around 13-14 (woulda been around '87-'88) I remember watching Sam Donaldson interview Trump (this was back when he was a democrat). Sam, for whatever reason, kept on interrupting him. D.J. finally had enough and jumped on him for it. Hard. Told him he was rude to everyone else but he wasn't going to be rude to him. Sam was visibly upset that he had been called out, but was much more polite for the rest of the interview.
Point being, putting his foot in a commie "journalist's" ass for being rude is kind of a BTDT going waaay back for our President.

If there is a debate, I would like to see President Trump respond to Wallace something like this.
“ I get it Chris, interrupting me us your thing, I’m fine with that, I can handle it, I’m used to it, but why don’t you try and interrupt Biden a couple of times and see how he handles it”.
Good line...you should forward to Trumps debate prep. DJT will handle Wallace just like he handled Megan Kelly.
