Your kids are lucky JC. We were last at Slippery Ann the day before you posted your video of starting the generator in a snow storm. We were in Malta when that storm hit. That country can change and get serious in a hurry.

Cool pic and what a nice father you are.
When does he get his first Creedleymorre?

Worn out cowboy boots, blue denim, a belt that is too long and glassing for elk on the hood of his 30 year old Suburban. You can't get much more country than that.
kwg
Those boots ain't worn out looking to me, Look more "broke in" from my vantage point.

I have some 7x35 Monkey Wards ones that still work for keeping handy by the back window. I think there's still a pair of Sear's Roebuck Inc ones too.

Super cool, one of things on my bucket list is hit Slippery Ann during the rut. I assume Slippery Ann is one of the local "ladies of the night"? Well done with young Dan'l Mr. Jim. I 'spect he'll be filling (and emptying) your freezer for years to come!

Jimothy,
I’m sure he is a fine lad but details on the Suburban please. 1988 Sierra Classic. 117,000 miles. 1500, 350, 4x4. Full third row seating and rear AC. I bought it off of Craigslist and picked it up last Wednesday and drove it back from Missoula.
I am MAGA.

How active were the elk?
Haven't been in a few years. Would love to get up there again but with the kids' activities, dang hard.

@jameslavish
If you work 40 hrs/wk: at 5% inflation and after 5 years, you need a 28% pay raise or to work 44 more hours (*one full extra week* per month+) to make up the difference.
This is inflation
