OK - what is the consensus here?
I've read that once fired brass should be neck sized only, if working up loads for accuracy in that same bolt gun. BUT - what about brand new brass?
Should I full length size it and fire it once in that gun before trying to work up loads for accuracy? IF yes - should I just use a crap bullet and a load sufficient to "fire-form" it to that particular gun's chamber?
OR is this all hog-wash and I should just load it up and go after full length sizing the virgin brass?
Better to be judged by 12 than carried by six.

No. Don't full-length size. No, don't bother fire-forming. Run an expander ball into the necks of the new cases to iron out dents, then load and shoot.

You better do a water volume check. Lots of starline rifle brass has less capacity and you might blow a primer using a near max load used on other brass. It is a big differance from other brass.
