Have all kinds of new stuff to play with once it cools down a little more. I bought a Forster Co-ax press, Forster BR FL dies, magnetospeed chronograph and a BUNCH of RL26.

Not a build but sent out a Fieldcraft 22-250 for a rechamber to 22 CM, if all the stars and planets align and the ATF pulls their thumbs out of their A$$ I will get the stamp approved in April for my Dead Air Nomad 30.

efw- That’s a great looking rifle! Karnis did some nice looking work.
I have a mini grendel that may see deer this year if I don’t go muzzleloader. Boomer is whittling the stock. I have it in the youth stock at the moment.
I bought a Mauser 98 barreled action for some reason and have been trying to figure out what to do with it. Kinda want a thumper. Maybe just go 9.3x62 Shaw rebarrel and a laminate stock I can file on for a while.

My new Timney trigger is backordered. There is a scalper on Ebay that wants double price. I waited it out, and now the trigger is in the mail from Timney. Meanwhile, I had to cannibalize another rifle for a trigger for the fitting. Where it is red, I have to dig out the stock for clearance.... including some of the rear pillar.

I have a mini grendel that may see deer this year if I don’t go muzzleloader. Boomer is whittling the stock. I have it in the youth stock at the moment. MM thanks yeah he was very skilled in stockcraft as well as extraordinarily generous with his time I remember being pretty astounded by how little he charged me on that. Just an all around great guy like many I’ve met here. A mini-Grendel sounds awesome to carry and shoot and totally up to the job of killing a whitetail. I bought a Mauser 98 barreled action for some reason and have been trying to figure out what to do with it. Kinda want a thumper. Maybe just go 9.3x62 Shaw rebarrel and a laminate stock I can file on for a while.
That sounds like a great plan but I don’t think Shaw makes 9,3 tubes? I could be wrong on that tho... Funny you mention this as there is a FN 98 action in the classifieds right now and I’ve been seriously contemplating a full blown custom right from a stock blank up in 9,3x62 or .30-06. One... last... custom...

I bore coated the barrels last night. I have to put on 3 more scopes and load ammo. I leave for hunting in a week.
