I had the tv timer set to turn off at 9:30 EST
So I listened to about 20 minutes or so of something, what I heard in those 20+ minutes was validation for NOT setting the timer for the full 90 minutes of 'debate'

The debate isn't going to change my mind or the minds of the circle of people I know both on the left and the right!
From the sounds of it it was mostly a shouting match and Trump had to debate both Biden and Wallace!

I decided several elections back that these "debates" are in fact media driven carnival sideshow level productions. Jerry Springer Productions Inc. Let the party and the candidate submit a written synopsis of their platform and goals if elected, let it be examined by the public, let the fact checkers check, allow each candidate one and only one rebuttal, shut it down and vote ten days later. Done.
Currently....It all stinks of the "Voted onto the Island " reality show.
Well this is a fine pickle we're in, should'a listened to Joe McCarthy and George Orwell I guess.

Maybe 5 mins, switched to Roku and watched elk hunting vids on YT.

I hate debates.
As far as educating the voter, they have been worthless for years. And my mind is already made up.
Also, I cannot stand watching missed opportunities from Trump to blow Biden out of water. I did not watch it but I am sure it happened.
