oh yeah and hornet nests. Im a trail poossy guy now

At 5am I'm at the trailhead where I walk 5 miles a day with a 30lb backpack and a 10lb rifle in my hands, no sling. I do that 6 days a week.
On completing that I'm back at the trailhead. If the ground is dry or frozen I drop and do 40 pushups with the pack on, then shed the pack and do 40 crunches. Otherwise, its a drive back to the shack.

Back at the shack I do 40 more pushups and crunches. After that I'm ready for the rest of the day.

5 miles with Tiny E this evening; ended the month with 208 miles- not too shabby

12 miles mountain bike. KB's, stretching, pull ups

Thanks! I'm shooting for 2020 miles for the year; I think my highest mileage year to date was in the 1800-ish range- with this month I'm actually a few miles ahead of the goal- hoping with hunting season and a few more trips I can make it

5mile jog/run/walk with a guy and girl in their early 30"s. I came in last.....

6 crisp (upper 30's) miles with TE this morning, this afternoon

deadlifts/overhead press/chinups 10/9/8/7.....2/1 going to be sore again!

4 miles with TE this evening; the nice weather streak continues

8 crisp (upper 30's) miles this morning with Tiny Elvis, the nice weather hangs on

8 miles with 60 pounds this morning, then straight to the range to shoot, both felt great, think I'm ready for Thursday morning!

7 miles early this morning w/ TE; met a guy who said he saw a small black bear down the trail- saw some bear tracks a little further down the trail

35 miles for the week

Did a 14 mile hike today, climbed about 3k in elevation, leaves just starting to change and it was cool out.

4 miles yesterday evening for Tiny E and I- our incredible weather holds

4 miles on a warm (for October) evening; stayed on the north side of the mountain so we were in the shade and wasn't too bad

5 miles for Tiny E and I

got my rifle sighted in and now in the process of packing; heading for the Bob Marshall tomorrow for their early backcountry season

7 miles yesterday with the dog.
