No affiliation. Based on the user name of the lone bid, I’m guessing it’s no one here. But the minimum bid has been met.

Normally we would all gather around and wait to see how high the final bid reaches....but in this case, it will probably be more appropriate to take guesses on how long it will take before someone hits the BIN button.

It's interesting to see how things change. A year or so ago, I would have been all over this but now I sitting heavy with LH M70s even after selling three. Like many, I'm focusing on less stuff and more trips. I hope this sells well and the buyer is happy.

Nice! Bet that someone hits the BIN button before it times out. Left hand Stainless Win M70's have been crazy lately...

ETA: Just re-read War Eagle's post. Sorry for the post from the Department of Redundancy Department...

That's quite a screen name.

That one sold at $1500.
There is now a 270 on GB for a bit more ... bet it gets hit also.

I was looking at that SS .270 yesterday. It looks as if the trigger has been replaced, being blue instead of stainless, and some bedding work. Glass bedding might not be bad but it would be a shame if the trigger was swapped out for a Timney or something. As dearly as I'd love a SS .270 I can't justify the 1G over what I paid for a blued one this spring.

This particular gun sold at auction for $1100 plus 18% buyers premium and shipping. I was bummed cause I tapped out at 1k but then stumbled on to a 2002 left hand custom shop in 270wsm. Trying to research it now. Prefer the old blued ones myself

I missed out on a left hand 30-06 left hand stainless at the Anchorage Cabela's last week even though I called them the second they opened. That was under 1k. Can not figure out their website timing. I need a beat up 270 to take into the woods or pony up for a macmillan for one.

Wow. Sorry to hear that. They're practically unicorns in LH now, let alone for under 1K. And like unicorns, they don't stick around long for viewing.

It got hit by me! I just sold my house and made a little extra pocket change, so I decided to buy the gun of my dreams. Albeit, tmitch is probably right about the trigger swap and bedding, but I imagine the rifle will perform well (at least as well as I can shoot). I've spent years looking for one in 270 buy was always too late, now I'm just looking forward to it getting here!
