Great job. You are serious about putting some game down this year.

I may have missed it in some other thread, but didn't see in your Mulie thread...what scope are you running on that rifle? Looks like a Zeiss but couldn't get resolution high enough to focus.

Zeiss V4 4-16x50....Tremendous scope...quickly becoming one of my favorites.

The smile on your son's face in the backstrap picture will be just as big when your family sits down to a backstrap dinner from HIS elk! I know my daughter's was when we ate her first deer's backstrap!!

Take a photo of he and his plate before he digs in! It will be a lasting memory as well as the hunt!
