I have an FN Mauser, 1952, 257 Roberts. I'd like to find a take off stock for it. My most recent attempt was a Butler Creek synthetic but it didn't fit. It doesn't have to be great. Just a good usable stock that fits an FN Mauser. I've thought a few times of selling the barreled action but I like the rifle and chambering. It is right handed so I don't want to spend a bunch on it since I'm a lefty. Thanks.

A fair amount. I’ll dig it out of the safe this weekend and measure the floor plate and screw distances. I have to head out now to help a buddy with getting the metal on his pole barn roof today.

The mag screws are 7 7/8” center to center. The floor plate inlet is 8 1/2” long. I have a Ramline (I thought it was a Butler Creek but was mistaken) the screw holes are right but the mag inlet is 8 11/16 long leaving a gap at the front of the forward mag screw.

I have one. Wood. Had my Mauser 98 large ring in it. Needs refinishing. Finish has brush marks and brush strand in it from the guy who did it for me.
I went to a Boyd's.
I’d be interested in your stock if it has the correct floor plate length.
I tried a Boyd’s a few years ago. Talked to one of their folks and gave them the dimensions and was assured it would fit. It didn’t. Then couldn’t get a response back from them for a return or refund. Tried phone and email. They never would reply. I ended up selling it.

I'll get a measurement for you in a little bit.
The Boyd's I have fit pretty well, had to carve an area to get hinged plate to fit and for it to swing freely. But minimal work with a Dremel.
