Trafalgar Group is also polling Trump leading more battleground states than others. They ask: "Who do you think your neighbors will be voting for?" This helps them get around the shyness of many Trump supporters who are afraid of retaliation for making their political affiliation known.
There is also a "retard" over sampling error built into most polls. Few if any normal people participate.
All polling should be banned leading up to an election, imo.

I don't know about this "Model", but, if you look at objectively, Trump's election year approval rating falls right between Jimmy Carter and George HW Bush...their re-election campaigns didn't end well for them. nothing dumber than a Wisconsin white liberal union thug

There is one BIG difference that this model goes into detail explaining (if you'd bother to look into it): Both Carter and GHWB were strongly challenged in their Primaries. Carter by Teddy Kennedy and GHWB by BOTH Buchanan and H. Ross Perot. The model is based upon Primary showings. not polls. The only time this model got it wrong was in the closet of all elations. Litteraly toss ups. Now, what were you trying to tell us again???

If you doubt the trend,see the part about attendance. Since Labor Day, so a little over a month ago, over 240,000 have attended a Trump rally. 84 attended a Biden rally. Remember, Trump had 2 weeks off with Covid.
People can say what they want on the phone to some pollster. I get multiple calls per evening from pollsters. I don't answer the phone, if I do I decline to take the poll.
When it comes to actually casting a ballot, who do you think is more likely to really vote. Somebody that goes to a rally, or somebody that sits at home on the sofa? Yahoo had a link to an article this morning on their homepage that looks like it's been taken down now, but the gist was about a Pennsylvania poll where if asked "Who would you vote for"the answers give Biden a 10 point lead, but if asked "who do you support for president' Trump has a fairly significant lead. The biggest political party in the US is the apathetic, there's nothing about Biden that gets people excited enough to show up to do anything much less vote.
