I use the SnoreRx device. I am very happy with it. I sleep much better and it has cut my snoring by 95%.

Just one little cautionary bit of info. You MUST start out with an accurate diagnosis for anything to work. For instance, periodic breathing (a neurological issue) must be ruled out or treatments for obstructive problems will fail miserably. just sayin.

My wife threatened to sleep in another room so I tried the dental device fitted by a dentist. It did fix my snoring. My dentist actually uses one himself. I have not had a sleep study but the dental device was the first cheaper alt. to try. I am 15 lbs too heavy but certainly not obese. I know sleep apnea can be genetic and affect people regardless of their weight. I heard it explained that chronically not sleeping well contributes to weight gain so it may be hard to tell which one came first.

Maybe that was my problem: the home sleep study showed me to be WAY into the "severe" zone. No wonder the cheap $20 Amazon mouth device that I'd tried beforehand, didn't do [fecal material]. Even once I got the machine, they had to keep upping its effort to get it to work effectively.
