Both mine made B&C in that case, back in August.
One was a calf.
And I'm stealing that. Steal away. I stole it from one of the memes here.

Love it! Hunting for me has always been about the freezer and the people I am hunting with. I enjoy nice headgear as much as most, but do not get hung up on tape measures.

That is the only book to try and make in my opinion. Meat is where it is at for me when I go hunting. Horns just give you something to stir the stew with. Concur completely. Only way I ever shoot a big racked animal ( & I have plenty), is if it comes out before the "B&C" guy !

Thanks guys. Cutting and wrapping tomorrow. I’m thinking some backstrap steaks tomorrow night. Mmmmmmm. Marty, I have moved away from cutting steaks from the backstrap. Instead I cut them into roasts. I find it easier to keep them from getting overcooked I barbequed a whitetail doe backstrap roast last night. Delicious. Congratulations on the bou. I have only tasted Caribou once- at Trinity Baptist many years ago complements of our dear departed friend Joe Bush. He made a stew that was heavenly.
