Had some trees taken out a few years ago. This is a big leaf maple stump.

Here it is after we got it out of the hole.

Mike is about 5'10" I'd guess.

Was a bitch to get out.

Got a bigger one (fir) that I mostly done digging. Lost a tooth of the bucket and had to stop.

Just be glad you have the little digging machine.

Pine tree stumps are not fun even in MS.mud.

But sometimes there is some good figure in the stump wood for projects.

This stump is crotch wood. Might be nice. But it's going to be made into hog fuel.

If at all possible you’re a bunch of time and effort ahead to push the tree over whole, dig the dirt off the rootball and then cut the stump.

This looks like what we call dirt around here! Somebody wrote a book about our County titled Two Stones for Every Dirt.

I had an old spruce kick my butt in Alaska. The neighbors named it "nemesis", lol.

@jameslavish

If you work 40 hrs/wk: at 5% inflation and after 5 years, you need a 28% pay raise or to work 44 more hours (*one full extra week* per month+) to make up the difference.

This is inflation
