Asking this because the 4 closest WMs have emptied their gun racks and ammo shelves. A guy at one store told me that they were told to pack it up and ship it back to "the warehouse" last week.

I noticed the empty shelves and racks at the local Flagstaff WalMart today. I did not ask any employee about why.

According to guys at another forum they stopped selling pistol and certain rifle ammo last summer. Them guys were getting 9x19 ball for around $5 per box at closeout. The .45ACP ball was $30 per 200 if I remember correctly what they wrote. I do not blame them for stopping sale low margin merchandise. I mean $6 pain of Chinese-made sneakers can be sold for $20 to $30.

I hate walmarts, but I have to admit I'm really wanting to get one of their Ozark Trail coolers.

Good on them. Keep the guns out of the hands of the looters and plunderers.

I was in one tonight and they had it all removed. Counter lady said it would probably have stuff back out in about a week but had no clue what was going on

I do. I don't like the sound of canaries dropping dead.

Have not bought any ammo there in years. If Walmart gives it up it'll help some local gun stores sell me. all good.

I know Nebraska moves slow but JFC. I like the slower pace of life and the pioneer spirit in Nebraska. The only bad things are the lack of public land, so people who don't have access to private land often trespass, and the high number of undocumented aliens who are employed in the meat packing industry.

I've bought at least a couple dozen firearms from WM when they have been on sale for less than small dealer wholesale. A couple of months ago I bought some Savage Axis rifles for $135 out the door, throw-away rifles at throw-away prices.

The Chinese Embassy hasn't sold firearms or ammo in Jersey for 20 years or more. The ones near me pulled all hunting/firearms related magazines from the racks about a year ago.

Same here, I'll buy them at closeout prices and use them or trade them off down the road if they aren't being used. Picked up a couple Salvages, few 1187s, Wby Vanguard, 700 varmint maybe another or two I've forgotten about. Probably the best deal was the Savage Axis combo with wood stock for $74 then a $50 mail in rebate.

Wondering if it's being done to keep from supplying the disgruntled voters after the election...
