Lyle and his Large Band...those cats are absolutely awesome in concert. We were fortunate to see him a few years in a row each Christmas season at Bass Hall in Fort Worth. My favorite concerts ever. “White Freightliner Blues/ A Little Farther Down the Line...older works but great. San Antonio Girl too. Wife lived two doors down from he and Robert earl Keen while in school at Texas A&M. I’d visit on weekends and literally if they weren’t gigging somewhere their porch and condo was rocking.
