I put kellys on my 4x4 sorento this go round. Havent had any snow yet. They are US made which was a selling point.
They are quiet and seem to be really round. You cannot go across a broke off steel fence post though. right through the center of the tread.

What about Toyo Open Country M/Ts? Great traction, poor wearing tire, was my experience. I had them on a duramax. Oh ya rock slingers also, golf ball size, released from the tread about 50 mph! Suprised me the first few times, as they bounced along the under carriage!

These are the Kellys we run, MSR , but we are in 8 months of either snow or , mud from melting snow or just rain. Sam these look like an older version of the ones you just got, I don't know about road miles as I don't drive that much roadway miles. But as for the mud and snow they kickass, they are quit and smooth, good luck

Mud and snow tires aren't a reality.
Mud tires are wide spaced and lugged to shed mud for traction, snow tires are designed to circumferally channel water and siped to retain snow for traction.

A friend of mine put Kelly tires on his truck last week. The dealer told him they were made by Cooper.

jimy,
I dont wanna be a dick, but I guess Im being a dick...
I sell tires and hear mud and snow all the time. They dont exist; most people have never had a set of actual snow tires to make a comparison. Even the cheap ones make a huge difference.

That sounds great, but I don't have the driveway enough to have a truck for each kind of weather we get, I run those Kelly's year around, through mud and snow and by some wonder of God and the roundness of those non mud, or snow tires, they get me through a sh~tton of both, maybe next time I will just put tracks on it to be safe !

How about them new skins, If been skidding logs with mine since that storm hit us, I don't know what kind of mileage you will get because I simply don't drive that many miles, but I impressed a few people with the log skidding I did last week !

Jimy, I've had 'em on for a couple weeks.
Can't really give much of a report other than they have way better traction than my old wore out Cooper ST Maxx.
They are diggers!
And they throw rocks on gravel but any new mud tire is gonna catch and throw rocks.

Kelly tires are made by Goodyear. You have to look at the DOT plant code to find out which plant made them it is cast into the tire. Codes MB, MC, M6, MJ, P1, PJ, 4B, and PC are all made in the US or Canada. Any other code is made overseas ....All over the world actually.

I forgot about the rock tossing, I pull out on the road slowly after being off road, they do launch some sh~t into the air, but I don't get stuck ! I don't know about your friends, but I would rather get caught with a kitten in my truck, than to call for a toe ! I know its tow , but that's not what will be talking about !
