What’s the deal with sharpie ballots? Our polling station in PA made us use Sharpies to mark ballots then scan them ourselves. Is this only an issue for mail-in?

Its not the same place it used to be. So many Yankees have moved to the Atlanta metropolitan area. Trump got 2 million votes in 2016, Hillary got 1.8 million.
Right now Trump has 2,436,000 and Biden has 2,423,000. Razor thin. The rest of the state has lost the ability to counter balance Atlanta like before. Plus, the smaller cities like Savannah and Macon, majority black have gone "blue" for a long time now. But they don't have the massive numbers of metro Atlanta.
Biden won 368,000 votes in Fulton county (City of Atlanta), 305,000 in Dekalb, 236,000 in Gwinnett, and 221,000 in Cobb. That is practically half of Biden's total in just 4 counties. Little counties in South Georgia going for Trump by 80% are great but its only a few thousand votes.
I knew this day was coming.....I just hoped it would be a little later on.
