I recently purchased 100 Peterson 22 Creedmoor brass and was curious if anyone has any experience using their brass. It arrived in plastic cases of 50 and appears to be very nice. The rifle is still at the smiths so all I can do so far is gather info!

Wow, I actually read the first half of the thread and then skipped to the last couple pages looking for a summary. I will say that my flash holes are very round and centered with smooth edges even if I don’t breathe on them! I have only used RP, Win, Fed and Hornady brass in the past and after measuring quite of few of the Peterson I am not disappointed yet.

Take working up seriously since load data will probably not be in Peterson brass. My Peterson 6.5 Creedmoor is noticeably heavier than Hornady, and it does produce high pressure with lower charges.

No experience with the Creedmoor cartridges here, but I can say from experience that a chronograph is your friend.

Rifle finished up and going to start loading a few on Monday. I’m starting with 88 grain ELDM and probably H4831, I will be shooting over a chronograph and starting slow and working up. I’ve loaded a lot over the last 15 years but this will only be the second wildcat round that doesn’t have published data to start with.

It is close to 22-250AI case capacity. I’m getting 3150fps with 88 grain eldm’s but think I could push it harder because there are no signs of high pressure with my current load.
