I have four Coleman stoves, 1 is a 2 burner propane used primarily in the GN horse trailer. Not messing w liquid fuel there.

The other three are white gas. One is the “ big” 2 burner, called the 2 burner deluxe. It’s wider and has extra room for bigger pans. Now, it’s mostly relegated to being the water heater for scalding chickens.

The other I recently inherited from my late neighbor and hunting pard. It’s a standard 2 burner the fits nicely in hard panniers.

Third is a Peak 1 like discussed in another thread.

Occasionally the white gas will gum up and want to flare a little. The quick fix is to empty the tank and put in fresh gas w Seafoam. Light it, run it on high until it runs dry.

My first Coleman was a 3 burner I from Gibsons Discount in1965 when I lived in Albuquerque. I still use it, propane converter on it.I also have a two burner for when I packed into to the back country with my mules.

Just looked at the one i got. The seller lied and said it was 20 yrs old, she was only off by 16 yrs...LOL think it will work, though. Still I'd like a cleaner one, or two

Been using them for years. The last couple I've had are the propane model as they are much more reliable IMO.

Nice.

Mine is the older version - Peak1. I think it’s only white gas, but that’s all I’d use anyway. The case for my Peak1 is a plastic Folgers coffee can. Works great.

Gave away my gas stove and lanterns. Now I use a little one burner butane stove. My days of big meals out camping are over. Mostly heat a can of soup or boil water for a Mountain House meal.
