The DOJ getting involved is the worst damned thing possible. They will stifle the Trump team’s efforts at obtaining evidence by claiming it is part of a criminal investigation. They will cover it up and in two years make a couple of token prosecutions and say that there were some irregularities but nothing that would have changed the outcome of the election.
