Had the opportunity to sit out for an hour or so after dark. A sounder of these hoglets came in and I lined up two for a twofer. I've ended up using it more than my Flir PST233 thermal. It is an ATN X-Sight II HD, 3-14, coupled with an IR850 Illuminator, and it works fine day or night. However there is a newer model that has two features that make it more attractive. The ATN X-SIGHT 4K PRO 5-20X is my next night vision scope. Reportedly it has an 18 hour battery life. The X-Sight HD II us a battery hog and you get about 45 minutes out of 4 AA batteries. Next, the 4K Pro has what is called "dual streaming". If I understand that correctly you can connect your i-pad, tablet or phone via blue tooth and view on that device without having to have your eye glued to the optic. That is a huge plus.
