So, I had Larry make me a pouch without the flapper and snapper. Got it today and branded it like the resta them. Made a positive retention kydex liner, filled the sheath with water until it wetted out, and then jammed the whole works in there. Hung it out in the sun all day to form and dry. Tonight I oiled the pizz outta it and rubbed it out. Turned out sweet......

Never a worry about the knife slipping out, without a healthy tug. And you can feel it 'snap' in...... And never a worry about cutting the welt or stitches. I do it to all my pouch-type sheaths. Cutting line and tails off knots, gutting trout, you name it. Fits the hand perfect. That hung around my neck and a pair of 6" hemostats I keep clipped to my shirt/coat is all I need. Eyes open for a 16bore if I can find anybody that wants rid of one. So far, no luck. Last edited by jackmountain; 07/25/20.
