Good morning all. I love Rick’s knives that you have posted here. But he doesn’t seem to have much of an online presence. How do you get in touch with him to place orders, see patterns, etc?

After using that flapper-style sheath for the lil dumpling for a while, I decided I just didn't like all that leather flopping around after taking the knife out. So, I had Larry make me a pouch without the flapper and snapper. Got it today and branded it like the resta them. Made a positive retention kydex liner, filled the sheath with water until it wetted out, and then jammed the whole works in there. Hung it out in the sun all day to form and dry. Tonight I oiled the pizz outta it and rubbed it out. Turned out sweet......

Surprised you needed the liner if the leather was form fit to the knife. It is a pretty deep sheath. Looks good.

Don't 'need' the liner. But it stiffens up the whole works and locks the knife in. Never a worry about the knife slipping out, without a healthy tug. And you can feel it 'snap' in...... And never a worry about cutting the welt or stitches. I do it to all my pouch-type sheaths.

Only one I own for now. Might not be apparent, but it's perfect for trout fishing. Cutting line and tails off knots, gutting trout, you name it. Fits the hand perfect. That hung around my neck and a pair of 6" hemostats I keep clipped to my shirt/coat is all I need.
Eyes open for a 16bore if I can find anybody that wants rid of one. So far, no luck.

Nice jack. I’ve noticed, ingrams and others come up for sale quite a bit more than menefee’s....

That's a beauty. I'd love to have a custom patterned after a sodbuster.

He makes a really nice knife. I have a Lil Dumpling in A2 and Shipyard Micarta. I will try to take a pic worthy of the knife.
