I recently lucked into a Barrett Fieldcraft Special Edition, but I’ve decided to keep my 21” standard Fieldcraft instead (also recently lucked into, lol)
The one on the trading block is 6.5 Creedmoor, 22” threaded barrel, green stock, cerakoted black. I’ll add pics later, but it’s in perfect condition and looks like all the other Special Editions. Low round count, shoots like a Fieldcraft.
I would be interested in trading for a non-threaded Fieldcraft in a non-6.5 Creedmoor chambering, a proven-accurate 280 AI Kimber (or other light- or mid-weight) +cash, or ???
I’m not interested in selling right now, but I will update with a price (or post new ad) if that becomes the case.
Cross-posted.
Thanks!

Currently considering a couple of different trades...up for a quick look just in case there’s something else out there before I pull the trigger.

Anything else you might be looking for in trade? Non-6.5 Creedmoor, non-threaded Fieldcraft Proven accurate light-mid weight 280AI. That’s about all I could think of right now, but if it’s interesting and very accurate, you never know...

AKWolverine, trade him that cerecoted 7mm-08 Fieldcraft, then play with this one for a couple weeks, then trade it to me for the 24" limited edition 6.5 Fieldcraft I have sitting here in the box. Always looking for an excuse to swing through Anchortown and give a chance to swap 2020 hunting stories. Think we swapped on sheep hunts already, but haven't chatted since moose and bison trips.
I corresponded with the gent off another forum before he posted here and waiting to hear if the 24" is of any interest to him--so trying to multiply my odds while giving you a new toy to play with--at least for a couple weeks if anything.
Before I really get myself in trouble and offer up my 280ai Mountain Ascent that the wife is trying to lay claim to--I don't even like it but sure shoots good and she decided she likes it after killing the griz and sheep with it. If I trade it maybe she'll forget by next year anyway.
Will

Will, that Mtn Ascent might get my attention; how good does it shoot?
Then again, I’ve heard that wives may be harder to come by in AK, so I understand your reluctance...

Nah, we have a few around these parts now. Funny though, we've had that discussion in relation to me wanting to get a lifesize standing mount on my spring brown bear. She is adamantly opposed, to which I argued it would likely prove statistically easier for me to find another wife than another bear that size. She new I was joking, but I still got an eye roll--but when her dad who was with us (and former guide) chimed in that I was absolutely correct she really gave me a steamed look.
She was happy to get her sheep, but said she wasn't going on another sheep hunt any time soon and I have a couple custom 6.5 saums that I favor, so admit I wont use the MA anytime soon. I'll check and respond in PM.
