Victor #3N "Government Trap" with complete chain marked ORE COOP on base. I have 6-8 different ones with different government markings hanging in my cabin that I am going to sell. These were sold to government agencies for coyote erradication programs many years back. The one pictured is $100 shipped. Man cave décor!

That is an interesting Trap. are there any other Govt markings?
I've never seen a trap marked "ORE COOP" Pretty cool!
Are your other traps the same size and style?
My Dad had piles of traps when he passed away. I still have boxes of real old and unusual ones. Some are pretty barbaric looking!
I'd like to know more about old traps.......Ed

Yes, there are several different markings on these same size/style. They were marked by various state and federal agencies as well as tribal agencies.

So what exactly does the "ORE COOP" stand for?
