With J E S Reboring! I sent him a 30-06 High Wall to report to 35 Whelen. I went with a 5 groove 10 twist. I installed a 2X10X42 scope yesterday and sighted it in today. Using Barnes 180 grain TTSX factory loads the rifle shot 3/4 MOA at 200 yards.

This is the first rebore that I've ever done and I am very pleased

20" twist? Is that correct or a typo?

Kudos on the rebore. I have heard nothing but praise for JES.

That's a typo, should be 10 twist

That’s a good weight for a .35.

Here elk, here elk!

Legal in those Southern states with the crazy Primitive Weapons regs too.

Pics, when you get the chance.

Congratulations on those results.
Those 1885 types are very looking rifles.
