Krogers had them at $9.99 a pound, so I got a 7 1/2 pound one. Will stick it in the freezer and have it at Christmas. Cooking it is my wife's job.

Flave, Sedano's has beef tenderloins on sale for $4.99/lb. Went there to pick one up today, but there were too many people at the meat counter line. I'll just pick one up tomorrow. Sale is good til the 26th.

Saw tenderloin on sale here today. I’ve decided Beef Wellington will be Christmas dinner this year.

Buffalo tenderloin on the grill for me with a boozy Cumberland sauce. Then some fermented egg nog for starters and Mustang grape wine. Then prickly pear wine if it has matured enough by then.

Cumberland, dijon, or horse radish sauces go so well with tenderloin.

Why are you freezing it? Start dry aging it yesterday for Christmas.
