Anyone with experience using Reloaders 26 in the 300 Win Short Mag?????
The manual does not list anything for this.
What have you experienced and what are the load specs you developed.
I plan on using the 165 gr Accubond bullet.
Thanks Tim

Here you go: https://www.speer.com/reloading/rifle-data.htmlThe Alliant site does not show it for the 300 WSM but does for the 270 WSM which would get you in the ball park. It works well in the 270 WSM so should in the 300 too.

Thanks for that reference, but I was hoping for some actual 300wsm info. Don't see any here.
I have had to interpolate and extrapolate data for loads before, but really like some actual hard data also to shore up my guesstimates.

I have loaded 165 and 180 trophy bonded tip bullets in the 300 WSM with good success. I'll post my load data when I get home. Speer has data for the 300 WSM and RL26 just follow the link above.

Thanks for posting that link. As a 300 WSM owner I also found it very interesting. Thinking about some load development over the winter.

Unless you have a good stash, RL26 has been like unobtainium for months. I’ve been putting off load development for other cartridges, saving what I have for my .300 Weatherby. Happy Trails

So, got it and thanks.

If you can't find RL26, I've had great success with RL17 and the Barnes 168 TTSX.

Just bought RL26 yesterday and have RL17 and RL16 on hand. I have used the RL17 in the 300wsm, but will not try these other two.
Actually I bought the 26 to give a try in my 270 after hearing Mule Deer report how well it works with 150 gr bullets there.
Have to warm a bit and wind lay a bit before I make another range session.

I haven’t tried 26 but rl23 was the most accurate powder with 180 accubonds in my rifle. It’s my understanding that rl23 is more temp stable than 26. It’s not a super fast load but at 2955 and a standard deviation of 8fps in new brass I’m happy.
Other powders tried were H4350 and rl16.
