9,3 x 62 Mauser here.
1951 Remington 721 rebore (JES) with a custom Lane can.
Wearing a 1.5 x 6 Kahles.
MPBR to 286 yards. 2 MOA steel at 400 yards 9/10 shots.
2020 has her way UNDERUTILIZED... Wind has been kicking my butt.
270 shooters need not reply. Same with Creekmoor transvestites.
If you are not actively engaging EVERY enemy you encounter... you are allowing another to fight for you... and that is cowardice... plain and simple.

1950s Husqvarna 98 Mauser on an FN action. Caliber 30-06. Basner stock painted brown with red pad. Scoped with a Swarovski Z3 3x10.
It’s raining lightly and it is literally rusting before my eyes this morning. Don’t care because I’m getting it coated in a couple of months.

270 shooters need not reply. Same with Creekmoor transvestites. There has never been a more perfect cartridge invented for deer hunting than the 270 Winchester. It's all anyone needs, as deer aren't that hard to kill. These days I use a 6.5 Creedmoor, and it's every bit as good as the 270, well, almost. The rest of my family uses the 243, and it's all anybody needs. All Model 700's by the way.

Deer aren't hard to kill. Anything you shoot well does the job. ^^^THIS^^^^ We have a lot of hunters coming here from Florida, Georgia, and Alabama that lease land to hunt on. The biggest majority show up with a magnum caliber rifle, then get all pizzed off when the adjoining local hunter kills the biggest buck with a 243 or 30-30.
