I prefer TriggerTech for all of the above listed reasons. The only issue I ever had was on my old GAP Tempest and it just required a taller trigger hanger and it was happy

Wow! nearly everyone agreeing on one brand. That's huge for the Fire. Sounds like TT is the way to go.

I shot a 0.1" 3 shot group at 50 yards with a 1917 Sav 99 takedown with 6mmBR bull barrel with the 12 pound original trigger.

I have two rifles with Triggertech triggers in them. They work okay, I've yet to have any issues with them.

What's the barrel contour & length on this? Looks like something I've got in mind.
That rebarreled 250 Sav is a 1995 Rem700 short action. The goal was light weight. It has a 20" barrel, carbon fiber bipod, and light fill rear bag..... 8 pounds 3 ounces without ammo. The Gold coin in the bolt handle does add some weight. 1) The 250 sav is a Rem 700, Lilja 10" twist 3g, trigger tech trigger, PTG bolt, PTG recoil lug, Talley rings with bases, SWFA ultralight BCD scope
115 gr Nos bal tip naked 2.515" 65kpsi per quickload with cfe223

John, I replaced that handle. I make a lot of handles.
My relatives from Sweden pronounce Johnny as "yawnny".

My relatives from Sweden pronounce Johnny as "yawnny". Yep, I now answer to "John" , "Yon", "Yawn" and "Yawnny"! My masters' students coming from Germany initially have a hard time with the informality at Swedish universities, and are not comfortable calling me "John" at first. I keep correcting them, but at least initially, I am "Professor Herr Doktor" until they loosen up!  John

TT Primary for the price compared to a Timney all day. I also like Shilens in that price range.
TT Special/Diamond price range, I'll go with a Bix N Andy all day long.
