I was thinking of getting a 357 magnum pistol barrel for my encore. Maybe 6”-8”inches. Which is pretty short for the encore because you only see 10-14” barrels.
So does anyone here have a short barrel for their encore? Can you post some pics. Thanks.

Not a big deal to shorten and recrown a barrel

I've had 10" Encore barrels before. Not a fan. The frame is heavy and makes the balance of the pistol feel weird. I love 10" Contender barrels and think 12" feels much better as the short barrel option on an Encore.
