Likely because Dominion doesn't talley flu, and .gov doesn't subsidize for it.
I would not buy something that runs on any kind of primer given the possibility of primer shortages and even regulations. In fact, why not buy a flintlock? Really. Rocks aren't going away anytime soon.

There is nothing but BS about masks.
Two sides, both trying to out do each other.
One wants you to think everyone in masks would make you safe. Then they contradict themselves with other rules
The other, many here, who say they do nothing. That's just stupid. Many types, wore different ways, all affect any effectiveness. But saying something that will, absolutely will, catch some of what's expelled is nothing? That's absurd.
Now, as to how much. At what possible cost if masks are used too long, or dirty?
Why can't people just be honest? Everyone seems to have an angle, a point they twist the facts to make.
This whole dam virus is infected with it.
We have lost Billions of dollars and hundreds of thousands have died. (And even the deaths are controversial, but most were at least a bit premature)
After all of this, when the dust settles we won't have decent data about what happened, and how. All things helpful in preventing a epidemic. We have clear data on a pandemic over 100 years ago. And have totally corrupted any chance of learning from this one.

And have totally corrupted any chance of learning from this one. Particle size and bypass. They do next to nothing and increase risks in some cases. How big does the spike in cases have to be before the slow (who have been wearing masks for months) clue in that they are ineffective? Wear one if it makes you feel better. I wear one when required. It makes the slow feel better, as they rifle through the produce, use the keypad, and grab the doorknob. Do you think this is a magical virus or is it constrained by physics like every other virus?

If you don't have any symptoms of Covid, you are not contagious and cannot pass it on to other people.
I'm not posting any links because there are hundreds of them proving it.

"What’s interesting is that every medical provider in my area is adamant about masks."
That's because their employers demand it and they need their jobs just like the people that work for any big corporation.

But what dumb ass here thinks the efforts most people take with corona aren't helping with the flu.
.
I haven't read any further in this thread than this post. I am going to go ahead and reckon that they are about to come out of the woodwork.

It's hard believe that face coverings (I don't like the word masks) when worn properly, don't capture some of the particles containing the COVID virus with varying levels of efficacy.
