Mother-[bleep] are going to try to do it I'd wager. Which means you and I will pay the debts of students who borrowed to get a Phd in Lesbian dance theory. And will those of us who pinched pennies and worked our asses off to pay off our student loans get a refund? Of course not.

Self employed, or blue collar sweat and blood jobs.
Only to be looked down on by college educated folks.
I have even sat beside a conversation of how people who didn't go
to college were lazy. I was logging or building things while they partied,
Or sat in air conditioned classes.


I have made decisions on my money.
When to or not to borrow.
And played back every [bleep] nickel.
I shouldn't pay a dime of anyone else's debt.
My daughter is a senior, and price is a major factor in
school choices. She doesn't want to be in debt forever.
And doesn't need to be. There are choices that can keep it
manageable. If you just had to go the the big expensive school,
It's your problem, not mine.

I’ve busted my ass to make sure I had the money to pay for my kids education. Should’ve let them take out loans so they could get it for free.

There is a direct correlation between college costs and grant/student loan/other financial aid.

Talking with my kids Doc, he told us what his first year med school cost.
Blew my mind. 60's or early 70's it was only around $2k.
He had a con who had recently finished Med school, told us he couldn't
imagine how the kid could have paid it back without Dads help.


But, the gastro son married a dermatologist.
They probably spent over a half million.
Then again, they earn that annually.
Should be able to pay it off in a few years if they
have a financial brain.

With that money and the money you saved on your NRA membership; you'd have almost a hundred dollars.

I have a 4 year college degree. I worked construction during summers, and worked in restaurants during school. I paid my way through college and didn't borrow a dime.
So, today, I get to pay for some kid who has never had a job and borrowed $50K to smoke dope and chase coeds for 4 years.

I finished my degree last summer. I have student loan debt. I am not asking anyone to pay it back. That being said ,if it were to magically disappear, I could buy more beans, boots and bullets.

It's the american way now. I worked my ass off this summer, 15 hours a day for 90 days straight. Many in my industry canceled part or all of their season, despite the state being open for business. The .gov has given them insane amounts of bail out money, and the guys who decided to work, get to pay a buttload of taxes. Just the way it is.

Wait to they start deciding WHO gets to go to college. You may get to pay for someone else’s while they say yours is not eligible

We've had decades of liberals screwing children in the name of the children. Grossly inflated tuition to cover grossly inflated salaries. It's a sick mess.

This is nothing more than pre-emptive kickback to future liberal elitists for their loyalty to the Democrat Party. It has absolutely nothing to do compassion. It's also a way to allow academia to keep jacking up tuition at 5 times the rate of inflation so that tenured professors filling young minds with commie garbage can get more pay raises.
