I have 2 TC Renegade muzzleloaders that need a new home. They both have custom 1-20 twist 45 cal barrels. The one I bought new also has the original 50 cal barrel. These barrels were designed to shoot a 400 grain pure lead bullet as dropped from an RCBS 44-370 FN mold without sizing. I have a 2 cavity mold as well. These guns will shoot these 400 grain bullets at 1300 fps or a little over powered by Pistol Pyrodex. Accuracy is very good. My father in law and some of his friends have killed elk with them. Ballistics are about like a 45-70. My rifle has a 28" barrel while my wife's is 26". Both have peep sights installed.
I'd like to sell both rifles, mold and about 150 bullets as a package. I have shot TC 240 grain maxi-balls out of my gun but did not record the accuracy. I once shot a 3 shot group of 5/8" but last recorded one in 2008 was 2 1/2" at 100 yards.
I will probably put the package in the classifieds shortly but wanted to check interest first. Thanks

Interesting. A feller could also use BH if he installed a 209 conversion nipple.
Might want to at least be open to the option of selling them separately, as I’m sure you’ve got some money invested and it might be tough to get what you’d want for both. A pristine .50 barrel might bring a good price on ebay.
Good luck.
What fresh Hell is this?

Bag the 209 primers; install a musket cap nipple and you're good to go.

Haven’t tried that. Bought one of the conversions, but sold the Renegade before I tried it. Mostly I bought it because at the time, good caps were scarce and pricey, but I had a lot of 209s. After I bought a musket, I scored 1000 RWS caps locally.
One more POS my children will have to deal with when I go under😜

Anson, would ya be interested in splittin em up? Thanks
Ping pong balls for the win. Once you've wrestled everything else in life is easy. Dan Gable I keep my circle small, I’d rather have 4 quarters than 100 pennies.
Ain’t easy havin pals.

Anson, would ya be interested in splittin em up? Thanks Judman, I probably will sell them separately. Still trying to figure out the best way to split things up. You can PM me if you have something in mind or wait until I list them. Thanks.

RCBS 44-370-FN mold listed in the classifieds. Everything else is gone.
