As for the public schools going away from merit based entry, it's of no matter when it comes to the Asian community. As many have noted, Asian families will do what is needed to get their kids educated properly. Case in point, my half chinque sons are now in a private school for the rest of their pre-collegiate education, as the public school was going to have covid remote learning indefinitely, as opposed to the private schools in person instruction. The kids love being placed in smaller classes based on their ability to perform. The older boy in 8th grade did struggle a bit at first - being an 8th grader in an Algebra II class filled with juniors (and not having the geometry background that sophomores get) but still pulled out the A for the first half term. And yes, I'm bragging. But while he has been driving me and his mom nuts with his rebelliousness for the past 11 years, he still makes us proud.

China does not do anything by accident by happen stance. When we did the Immigration and Naturalization ceremony at the Federal Court House once a month about 25% were formerly Chinese citizens. The rest of the world were middle easterners and Europeans. A small percent were of Hispanic cultures. The Chinese under Obama were flooding America with their citizens. This is no accident. At some point China is going to call in their markers and the Chinese recipients of American citizenship are going to have to respond. After all, China has their parents and family as a hostage back "home". This is how China works with American socialist presidents.

I know many hardworking, good Blacks as well. As a matter of fact, a Black friend of ours for over 50 years just came and got some cabbage and broccoli that I have growing in the high tunnel. She drives a Ford truck and has her concealed carry permit, and is as good a person as I know...........but she is in the less than 10% category of those Blacks that are that kind of people. The overwhelmingly majority of them have zero desire to be good productive citizens.
Or Italians. I worked with a guy whose father was a fireman in upstate New York. He (Irish) thought the fire service would be ruined when his department hired their first Italian-American.

Look around. Look at geography, weather, natural resources, culture.
What large land mass blessed with abundant resources in 3 of the 4 categories has never had any success. (Except for one country influenced by other peoples)
While the rest of the work deals with poor resources, poor weather, or adverse geography. But their culture is successful.
Also, when culture A goes to other locals, it still doesn't flourish. It now walks into the modern world, schools, technology, actual preferences to help them succeed, and they still fail.
Look at the Vietnamese, Cambodians, Chineese... Drop them here, dirt poor, can't communicate. Give them 20 years and they own homes, businesses, highly educated kids. Honestly, yellow versions of our founders.
The others, are complaining about things that ended 155 years ago. And living in squalor.

Blacks often hate Asians, especially the ones who work their azzes off to build businesses in the inner cities, and demand payment for what they sell and often have anti-theft systems like bullet-proof “lazy susans” in their stores. Once, while walking across the Capitol grounds during the LA riots, I heard Mad Max talking with some interns about the Asians defending their property. Max said, “They bad”.
Not sure why exactly, but many Asians dislike, not necessarily hate, blacks. When was the last time, or the first, that you saw an Asian with a black “significant other”?
The Chinese are still holding a grudge, largely with good reason, for what the Western powers did to China around the turn of the 20th Century. They also know that it was facilitated by their own weak and corrupt government of that time. That grudge doesn’t make them hate white people, but certainly affects their view of the West now.
Chinese men absolutely hate to see a white guy with a Chinese woman, but seem to like white gals okay when they can get ‘em. Chinese gals like white men because we don’t treat them like schitt, as Chinese men often do.
The only people not allowed to dislike anyone or anything, are white men, because everything that’s wrong in the world is our fault. As Maxie says, “We bad”.
