Celebrated Sunday at Mom’s. Had 9. Good time. Sister and BIL both just got over a bout with the China flu a few weeks ago. Flu type symptoms. Turkey, ham, oysters, oyster stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy, sauerkraut soup, deviled eggs, home made biscuits, sweet potatoes with brown sugar and walnuts. Peanut butter pie, apple pie and maple cookies for desert.
I had to walk an extra 40min on the treadmill that night.

Apple pie leaked a little. I should spend an afternoon getting pie tips from wabi’s bride.

Mother uses her Aunt's recipe.

Shortening and a little vinegar.
