Buddy has an heirloom Stevens SxS with cracked stock.

It's priceless to him, real value, probably not much.

If wanting to get replacement stock, where to go?

A decent stock man can easily fix a crack and it will be stronger than new..Have seen then completely broken thru the wrist and repaired....again stronger than new..

Determine the model, then start googling. If it's a 311 it will be a very easy stock to find.

Buy a nice one with Tenite stock. Take it off (and forearm) and put it on the “heirloom”.

Buy a stock and forearm ftom Boyd’s, stick it on the “parts gun”, and try and break even on it at the next gun show..
