If you want to read about trapping, go to gutenberg.org, type 'trapping' in the search box. Look thru the list of books and pick what you want to read. They are online and free. Lots of old trapping info and great reading.

I write for them all occasionally. Since you already know about FFG, get Trappers Post. Its nothing but trapping. Bob Noonan started it, and they do a good job. Trappers World is another one.

magazines are for entertainment. books I have found useful but only in retrospect after having enough experience to learn from them. What really shortened by curve is trapping dvd's. some are not very good, but some are worth their weight in gold. Look for ones relevant to your geography and target species.

Go to trapperman.com and you will get more info than you can read and digest - for free. It's like trying to drink from a fire hydrant. ;-{>8

Why read when you can listen and watch. Go to YouTube and type in trapping. You will learn more than you need to know and you will see it being done.
Its free.

This is good advice, but be aware that trapping
videos on yoofloob are just like any other videos
of any other subject you can pick out on yoofloob.
Some are full of useful information, and others
you really wonder where the eff the person got
their goofy a$$ information from .
I wouldn't consider myself any kind of expert at
all, but I can't help but think that some of the
videos on various subjects I've watched that the
person in the video just got through reading a
book on the subject and decided to make a video
