I don't mind getting Christmas cards. It's the 4 page (front and back) brag letter that some relatives have to send every year that I hate.

Emails, and phone calls have pretty much replaced the cards. As said, god days in America back when.

The wife sends cards with a "newsletter". I have been assigned to do them, and I try very hard to make them unlike most others.

Mom always taped them up around the door jamb between the living room and kitchen. The rest she set on the top of the piano. At least a hundred of the every year.
I miss back then too.

Look at the bright side. It gives you something to do.

We had this cardboard sleigh and reindeer connected by yarn that held cards. It sat on the valence above the front windows.

Rant over..

I'd just drink a beer and forget the whole card matter entirely.

Walmart is the place to do cards in a normal year. It's so easy on their machines. Of course during Corona Days they aren't available. My wife would be .01 on the computer Literacy scale, on a good day. We have to help her with that too but you upload pictures, then it's a bunch of tapping. Super easy. Wife is working 58 hours a week so Xmas cards are probably out the window unless I do them. Which I dont really mind, sounds kinda fun. Thanks for the idea, fellas.

I can take the cards. It’s the obligatory pre card photo shoots I hate.

Nobody wants to see my ugly azz on a card anyway.

Those cat cards are creepin' me out!
I still enjoy sending and receiving Christmas cards. It was a huge deal to my mom, so after she passed away, I felt an obligation to carry on with her card list. For the 12 years since, I've been exchanging cards with people I've never met. Sadly, the list grows shorter every year as her friends and family members grow old and pass on.
