Middle of the road caliber, about as exciting as white bread.
All the gun makers had to flood the market with them since it was a common military cartridge and ammo was cheap for all the cheap MFs that like cheap ammo.
Tweener cartridge if there ever was one. To little for elephants and too big for ducks.
I don't see the point.
I'm going to buck the crowd and stick with my .264 Creedmoor.

30/06? ah hell no, but if someone were to neck up a 270 to 30, yeah man, that's the schit.

If Liberace and and Ru Paul had a baby, they’d name it 6.5 creedmoor.

No doubt, that long action about dislocated my shoulder every time I had to kill something with it. Can't believe I put up with that for so many years. I am back to my 30/30, much easier on me!

There ain't no trouble that a man can't fix with a thousand dollars and a 30-06.

But you're right they're about as fun as watching paint dry

Creedmires are for entertainment value of all the gushing and ooing and awing band wagoners over something that's been done several times already.

The 06 has kilt more mammals than all the other chamberings combined.....Lalalalala hands over ears. Don’t care. The 30-06 sucks.

The ability to shoot everything from 55gr bullets at 4100fps to 220gr bullets at 2400gps really sucks.

The one caliber stocked in every single store that sells ammo.

Never owned or shot the -06. Or the Creed of any style. Since one can kill an ele with a M16 I hardly see the point.

I am..........disturbed.

Regardless of what your opinion of the caliber...when was the last time anyone used the word "aught" in a different context.

If I was in Bear Country and had one stuffed with 220g partitions. I would sleep very well.

Other than that, I’d almost rather have a sling shot.

I had two friends who culled elephant in Rhodesia with push-feed Mdl 70s in 30-06.

Hunt ducks with an '06 loaded with a 32 acp in a chamber insert.
