Bought on an end of season clearance for like $250. Have only grilled on it. No low and slows. Googling gives lots of tips on how to seal it up for better air control. Air control is what is required for low and slow.

The Komodo Kamado is a ripoff. They fall apart faster than the cheaper grills. Dennis the owner of Komodo Kamado is a snake salesman. NRA Lifetime Endowment Member

Lots of good reviews and anything else you would ever want to know about ceramic cookers on this website. http://www.nakedwhiz.com/ceramic.htm Know fat, know flavor. No fat, no flavor. I tried going vegan, but then realized it was a big missed steak.
