BGE and Primos are nice, have buds with each and they both love em. I went with a Weber Summit and added a BBQ Guru for set it and forget it cooks, can recommend without any reservations.

When you buy a Primo or Big Green Egg, it is going to last you the rest of your life. You get what you pay for. Before you buy, in light of the lifetime investment it represents, look at this video. Only the Primo and BGE passed the kiln test.

That’s what we have. Bought on an end of season clearance for like $250. Have only grilled on it. No low and slows. Googling gives lots of tips on how to seal it up for better air control. Air control is what is required for low and slow.
Pit Boss 24” is a good smoker for the price. You can get accessories for it that make it much better. The Komodo Kamado is a ripoff. They fall apart faster than the cheaper grills. Dennis the owner of Komodo Kamado is a snake salesman.
Pretty much everyone here knows I'm a BGE fan, so you know where my vote goes. Lots of good reviews and anything else you would ever want to know about ceramic cookers on this website.

This should not be overlooked, its common your grill will be subjected to a cook cycle inside a kiln.
