Why?
We buy that crap because we are in the middle of nowhere.
Why not buy some good product from a local shop?

Why not buy some good product from a local shop? That is a true statement.

I have one of the best donut places in the state about 3 miles from the house.
Their idea of a chocolate donut is to take a glazed donut and spread some cake frosting on it.
Not in the same category of this donut.

They are great - the chocolate on chocolate ones are even better.

The one convenience store in my town keeps a box of those on the counter. So far I've resisted the urge but have wanted to buy. Yea I agree buy from a local shop but for me the nearest fresh donut shop is 75 miles, then there's a Safeway (if you want to call those fresh) about 30 miles away.
Quit posting this crap, now I might break down and buy a box.

like jimmy said, break one in half and dunk it in a glass of cold milk. The chocolate coating holds the milk.

When I do, I sit down at the table with a half gallon of fresh, whole, milk, and devour the entire box. Only about once a year will I allow myself to bring home a box of those.

I picked up similar donuts in the Holiday gas station last week before heading on on a hunt. Chocolate on chocolate. Awesome. And the box donuts with the waxy chocolate sometimes are better than the luxury donuts. Ate two immediately and crashed an hour later. Not used to high carbs and sugar. Amazing if you cut out carbs how shcitty you feel eating high carb, high sugar junk food. Tastes good though!
A once or twice a year indulgence.
