I've only killed 4 critters with cast bullets, 2 black bears, a buffalo, and my best mule deer buck. I only took pictures of 2 of them...

From a few years back - probably the most memorable hunt I can remember. Blew off work one day and took the Ballard for a walk (45-70/Swiss 1-1/2) on land my family homesteaded many rears ago. Spent the afternoon trying to get from 1/2 mile to 150 yards, all in the open with no cover. Shot was across a small finger drainage from a sitting position with the front sight on his back. He went less than 100 yds...
