Are some around? Or do I have to get a custom made? Be Well, RZ.

There are a few around, but they are expensive. I bought my Marlin 1894S .41 Mag. new in 1988. Shoots very well and is a good companion to my S&W Mdl. 57.

Probably a typical Armslist scam. Too good to be true. ... Sounds like it to me. That $500.00 would not come close if I wanted to sell mine. L.W.

If he wasn't four hours away from me I might be tempted to look into it. But if it's legit, it's already gone!

They are around if you have way too much money and need to rid yourself of it. The price has gone through the roof in the last 5 or 10 years.

I'm beginning to think a rebarrel or rebore of a 357 might just be the ticket. Rebore would be just the thicket for economy. I have forgotten is it 0.100" all the way around they want for safety margin on rebores? Be Well, RZ.

The mag tube and opening in the receiver on a 357 won’t accommodate the 41. Best to rebarrel a 44.

OK. 44 it is. I have not been a fan of the Henry. I would have to see someone shoot it a lot and try to make it lay down on the job. See what it is made of. I know a bit of the Marlin. I was thinkin' the Marlin in 357 could be rebored. So a small bit of action work and a piece of conduit cleaned up for the mag tube? Then the rebore. And maybe a lighter rifle!?! Just wondering the best way. A 44 will mean at the minimum a new barrel. Be Well, RZ.

RZ, I just tried to load a 41mag in my 357 to see if I could get it in the tube and to cycle up the lifter. It was a no go. The 41 mag wouldn’t even make it in the gate.

YOU HAVE TO REPLACE THE TUBE. As well as some other items need to be reworked or replaced! Be Well, RZ.

You can still find a Henry 41 Mag in the $850. They dropped them from current production, but some are still available.

I always have an eye out for one priced decent. A 41 mag lever is #1 on my want list, but not for $1500. If I happen onto a Henry it will probably go home with me. Then my Redhawk 41 mag won't be alone
Just because you're offended doesn't mean your right.
