I have two Blue streak Sheridans, my original 5mm from 1965 and a later .177.
I want to put a scope on them.
Does anyone make a usable scope mount for these?
I had an original Redfield mount that clamped to the barrel with set screws.
That was not a satisfactory setup.

Oops. I see a thread about this was already started.
I guess I should have scrolled farther down the page

I've never found a mount I liked, so I stuck with a Willaims peep sight. There are several companies that make mounts though. Air Venturi makes one https://www.amazon.com/Air-Venturi-Intermount-Benjamin-Multi-Pump/dp/B0018L9Y7U

I bought a one piece scope mount that fits Sheridan F and C Blue and Silver Streaks off of eBay. Look for seller named dennis-baker or go to bakerairguns.com.

The fit was excellent and so far, I have had no issues with this mount. Comes with detailed installation instructions and tool.

The mount can be used with either 3/8-inch dovetail or weaver scope mounts.

Hope this helps.

I had a scope on my Silver Streak for a time, but the way I've always pumped it was to put my left hand just ahead of the receiver for leverage and pumped it with my right hand. The scope interfered with doing that. A Williams peep nearly doubled the sighting radius and has been more than adequate for a short range pellet gun.

My other auto is a .45

I cut dovetail slots in the receiver of mine and used regular 3/8" tipoff rings.

I really like the Williams sight. I got this Blue streak on my Birthday. 30 years ago. I rebuilt it in 2010.. still killin’ dinner!
