Glad to hear he is back!

I thought maybe this was the case, surprised it took him that long to come back home though. Checked for an update for a day or two and then lost hope. Truly happy the old boy survived and is going to be OK. Absolutely a Christmas miracle.

Bob said the dog lost about 5 pounds. He suspects that little Jack was holed up in a small cave on the cliffs above Turnpike Creek.

Tough little dog. What an adventure for him, if dogs have bucket lists
he can put a check in that box!
Glad he is home and the vet was able to fix him up.
Cool house call, that is a dedicated vet.

Great story.

Wish the reunion was on film.

Put a tag on the dog. That way nobody will take him in and be able to claim him as a stray. Maybe they will call instead of stealing him. I used to deer hunt with beagles. They can get badly misplaced and they are pretty little dogs that kids will take home. They are like any good hound, as in long winded and a deer or bear can take them on a chase miles away.

Hey! Glad Jack made it!

Bet he thinks twice before jumping on one of those giant yard coons again!
